This card's name becomes "Toon World" while in the Field Zone. Once per turn, during your Main Phase: You can add 1 "Toon" card, or 1 card that mentions a "Toon" card by name, from your Deck to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Perfect Toon World" thrice per turn. If another card's effect activates, at the start of its resolution, you can banish 1 Toon monster you control until immediately after that effect resolves (each unique original monster name can only be banished once per turn, by you, by this effect of "Perfect Toon World").
Toon World the Perfect World — Power Evaluation
Final Score: 57 ± 6 · Confidence: Medium
- Intrinsic: 55 · Deck: 59 · Meta: provisional
- Primary role: Searcher/Tutor · Secondary: Combo enabler
Why it scores here
Toon World's value is its repeatable search: once per turn it adds a Toon card or a card that names a Toon card from the Deck to hand, and it stays on the field across turns, so it converts a Toon-heavy deck into steady card advantage. Its combo role is real but modest: it appears in all 12 recorded boards, yet only 8.3% of those are as a starter, and the average power index is 24.6. Its high inclusion in Toon decks (142 of 366, usually at 3 copies) confirms it is live and reliably accessible, but that frequency is not treated as strength. Its weaknesses are a narrow search pool, a self-banish response that does not interact with the opponent, and little value outside Toon-centred builds.
Axis scores
| Axis | Score | Evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Accessibility | 70 | Three copies run in 305 of 366 decks and the field-spell search is live once it is on the field (inferred from text and decks_evidence) (observed). |
| Combo & Conversion | 45 | Present in 12 of 12 recorded boards but starter in only 1, with average power index 24.6 and examples scoring 36 to 56 (observed). |
| Resource Economy | 80 | Each activation is a +1 search and it stays on the field, so it is repeatable over turns; the once-per-turn limit caps it (verified text, inferred value). |
| Effect & Interaction | 25 | The response effect banishes one of the player's own Toon monsters to protect that card or effect, so there is no opponent-facing negation or removal (verified text). |
| Material Utility | 10 | A Spell Card with no body, so it provides no material value; scored low rather than zero because it is not a monster that locks itself (verified card type). |
| Resilience & Flexibility | 45 | Sits in the Field Zone where it can be destroyed by field-removal effects, but it is multi-turn and not one-shot (inferred from text). |
| Deck-Building Efficiency | 60 | Three-copy slot cost with a restriction to Toon-family content, offset by 54 distinct archetypes and a 92% partner overlap with core Toon cards (observed). |
Calculation
Weight profile: 0.7 Searcher/Tutor + 0.3 Combo enabler (Starter). Intrinsic ≈ 55, Deck ≈ 59, Meta = provisional. Modifiers: Self-restriction to Toon-centred builds (-2). Final formula: 0.40*Intrinsic + 0.60*Deck
Strengths
- Repeatable once-per-turn search that adds card advantage each turn it is live
- Three copies run in most decks, so the card is reliably accessible
- Wide synergy with the core Toon package and a broad set of partners
- Remains on the field across turns, so it works beyond a single activation
Weaknesses
- Search is limited to Toon cards and cards that name a Toon card
- The banish response is self-directed and does not interact with the opponent
- Starter in only 1 of 12 recorded boards, so it is mostly a support piece
- Vulnerable to field-removal effects
Counters / choke points
- Field-destruction or field-replacement effects that remove the card from the Field Zone
- Decks that can stop Toon engine cards before the search resolves
Best use
Searcher/Tutor and Toon engine support. Decks: Toon. Suggested copies: 3.
Evidence & gaps
- Verified: Once-per-turn search adds a Toon card or a card that names a Toon card from the Deck to hand; Response effect banishes one own Toon monster and does not affect the opponent; Card is a Spell Card with Field race and no body
- Observed: Appears in 366 of 366 recent decks, with 305 at three copies (avg 2.68); Present in 12 of 12 recorded boards, starter in 1, average power index 24.6; Inclusion in Toon decks at 100% in the usage statistics and 66.7% in the secondary Toon gameplay
- Inferred: Search is live once the card is on the field, so accessibility is high but not guaranteed on the opening hand; Outside Toon-based decks the card has little practical use
- Data gaps: no guides supplied Combo sample is small (12 boards) No metagame sample, so meta_power is null
